I was in a search for an ashram that would give me something specific. I checked many ashrams until I found Rishikesh Yogi Ashram, I just had a feeling that this is the right one for me and I wasn't wrong. Sandeep welcomed me nicely and I told him that I came for the Silent Meditation Retreat and I am in search of something. He told me all I needed and a day after I came and started the retreat. After the retreat I felt so good in every aspect, physically and mentally so I decided to stay for another week to do the Yoga retreat. Sandeep is very nice, professional, wise and understanding person. If you have any query or situation, he will help you and when it comes to the Asanas he is very strict and will push you until your body breaks, but you will make the Asana properly eventually. Also the food was amazing, simple, healthy and delicious. If you are in search of an ashram, this is definitely the one! Thank you Sandeep and all the stuff 🙏🏻
Great experience. The teachers are serious, involved and carefull! It is a good formation for people who wants to study yoga more deeply and start teaching with the good alignements! The program of the learning is perfect for students who have motivation!
Sooo I just finished my 200 hours TTC. To be honest at the beginning I didn't know what to expect, I wasn't really a yogi so I was concerned that the course was going to be too much for me. Now that I finished I can say I couldn't have picked a better place, I enjoyed every moment i spent there! specially because not only I learned how to do the asanas properly also because they inspired me to get into the path of yoga and learn more and more about it and overall improve every day. Sandeep is always pushing you to do better, he helps you underestand that attitude is everything and he also makes the place feel like home and family (which I really appreciate). Thank you Yogi Ashram for everything I recommend it a million times!
Sandeep is a great great teacher. Ashtanga was not my favourite, but he succeeded in having me appreciate it (great energy with this yoga!), giving me the good mindset. He teaches also Hatha yoga: I was atonished after 2 lessons to be able to do Hanumanasana (never thought I could do it...). He gives a real good energy during his classes, and improvements can be seen so quickly. Take it simply and things happens!!! He knows pretty much about acupressure and other healing techniques: he relieved so many times my pains (need to get used to the first week of Yoga Teacher Training YTT200!). Also, I loved to sing mantras in his classes :) I should really recommend him: one of the best teacher I ever had.
Sandeep is a person who changed my mindset about the world. He is not only a great yoga teacher, he is someone who has aquired a yoga way of thinking to its deepest. He is truly happy to wake up in the morning and doesn’t have a circumstance which can ruin his mood or can make him say something bad about something or someone. I am very lucky to have been able to be his student and I’m very happy that people like him exist, peole who make this world a better place.
